NaNoWriMo

It’s been sometime since I’ve written something fresh, I mean a novel or a short story. My hard disk is full of rough drafts so I decided to bring at least one book in paperback and then lay hands upon unfinished projects. But I can already feel the November breeze, yes a perfect month to start something new. Why November, why not any other month? Well, it’s because NaNoWriMo- National Novel Writing Month. Have you taken part in this program? I have, in 2011 and 2012. In 2011 I began Autumn Leaves- yes that novel which was selected for the second round for Amazon Breakthrough Award 2012. And then in 2012- Whispering Meadows. Unfortunately I couldn’t reach my target in writing more than 50000 words in 30 days, but I could complete writing both books. NaNoWriMo is a good platform to wake up your sleeping writing muscles. If you are searching for inspiration to start writing something I recommend you to become a NaNo writer and see what happens, inshaAllah.
Are there any writers already planning to take part in this year’s NaNoWriMo?
